Shameless Promotion of Family Members

My relatives are way more talented than I am.  For reals.  But you don’t have to take my word for it:

My dad, Richard Kirk, is an artist, writer, farmer, and all-around cool dude.  You can get prints of some of his gorgeous photographs at his Zenfolio site. We’re hoping to open a Zazzle store eventually so there’s an easy way to get his designs on a variety of products.

My mom, Linda Kirk, had a book published.  She used her ninja librarian skills to work with her genealogy club on Myrtle Point and Vicinity: 1893-1950.  It’s part of the “Images in America” series made by Arcadia Publishing.  This book is by far the best one in the series, in my totally-not-biased-at-all opinion.  Seriously, though–the book is beautiful and the captions are fascinating, especially if you have any connections to Coos County.

Sis and Bro-in-law

My sister and her husband, Emma and Joel Kirk, have a design/construction business based in Corvallis.  They’re the kind of contractors you dream about: skilled, reliable, and creative.  There’s not much more for me to say, as you can find all the relevant information for yourself by visiting the Kirk Design & Construction website.
