If you feel inclined to give me money (and why wouldn’t you?), not only will I give my cats a long speech about how awesome you are, but you’ll get cool shit out of the deal:
I love to paint my own fabric and use that to make a one-of-a-kind product. However, when I need a lot of cloth to make duplicates, I upload it to Spoonflower.com and have them print it for me. If I like the test swatch enough, I make it public so other people can buy it. I get a 10% commission for every order of my designs. Spoonflower’s prices are a bit spendy, but you won’t be able to get that fabric by the yard anywhere else. Be sure to send me a picture of what you make with it!
Spoonflower, for those of you not familiar with it, is a great resource for finding exactly what fabric pattern you want on whatever type of cloth you need. Want to make boxers covered in neon green robots juggling marmots? Or how about a classic plaid on a silk scarf? Somewhere on Spoonflower is a designer that thinks just like you do. I like to browse the site when I’m bored just to show myself that, yes, there are people who are weirder than me. (I try harder, though.)
